Who we are
Nodaro (“we”, “us”) is a route-planning app for daily commuters, operated from the United Kingdom. You can reach us any time via .
What we collect
On your device (never sent to us):
- Your Home and Work addresses
- Saved routes and favourites
- App preferences (units, default mode, theme)
On our servers, only if you give it to us:
- Your email address — only if you create an account or include it on a feedback form
- Feedback messages you submit, with the device/browser string so we can reproduce issues
Location: When you ask for directions, your browser may share your current location with the map/routing provider to draw the route. We don't store a history of those requests.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We don't run third-party advertising or ad-tracking SDKs.
- We don't build a profile of your movements over time.
- We don't share your saved addresses with anyone.
Maps & routing providers
Drawing a route and showing a map requires a mapping provider. When the map loads, the provider receives the technical data needed to serve tiles and compute directions (your IP address, the area you're viewing, and the start/end of the route you requested). Those providers operate under their own privacy policies. We don't pass them your name, email or any account information.
Cookies & local storage
Nodaro uses your browser's local storage to remember your preferences and saved routes — that's what keeps your data on your device. We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in if you choose to create an account. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies that track you across other sites.
Deleting your data
On-device data: clear it any time from your browser's site settings (Clear site data / Cookies and storage for nodaro.app), or sign out from the in-app menu.
Account & feedback data: from the address on the account and we'll delete it within 30 days. You can also send the request through the in-app Feedback form.
Your rights (UK & EU)
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).
Children
Nodaro isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
